No pre-soaking required! Sprouted black lentils get their dark colour from the same antioxidants found in dark fruit like blueberries and plums, and are a good source of fibre, protein and iron. They keep an “al dente” texture when cooked and have a subtle flavour that pairs well with aromatics like garlic and onion.
Second Spring sprouted black lentils cook very quickly, and are excellent at absorbing flavours. They are great in a variety of warm and cold dishes like salads and grain bowls, and hold up well in soups, stews and curries. Try replacing meat for a sprouted black lentil bolognese sauce or lasagne.
